SETUP

Start with what you want to share.

A profile is a small file containing your public project name, description, mode, and optional link or hosted image URL.

  1. Write a public name and description.

Use the browser editor. Replace the fictional LayerLab example with your own wording. Avoid private repository names, client details or paths.

  2. Add a link or image if it helps.

Links use public HTTPS URLs. A local PNG, JPG or WebP can be prepared as a square icon without uploading it. See project icon preparation.

  3. Save and export.

Save keeps a profile in this browser. Export produces a portable JSON file. If your browser blocks the download, expand Copy exported JSON and save that text.

  4. Import into the desktop app.

Review the fields again. Enable sharing explicitly to connect to Discord; startup and import do not automatically publish. Discord displays Nowbeam as the application title, with your public project name and description beneath it. This website is a visual preview, not a Discord session.

What does a profile leave out?

Exports allow only the public schema. They do not include paths, window titles, command history, prompts, account credentials or local image files. Unknown imported fields are discarded.
