WORK STATUS

Share your focus, on your terms.

Use Discord to showcase a project, and work statuses to tell colleagues what you want them to know.

Slack

Connect your workspace from the desktop app, enter your status text and emoji, choose an expiry, then explicitly publish. Nowbeam requests permission to edit your own profile; it does not request message-reading access. Use Clear to remove a published status, then Disconnect to forget the connection.

Mac sign-in, publish, visible profile status, clear and disconnect have passed a real workspace test. Windows OAuth and long-running refresh still need acceptance testing. Customer downloads remain in release testing.

Microsoft Teams

The implemented connection requires a Microsoft work or school account with Teams access. A personal Outlook account or an email address alone is insufficient. Sign-in, publishing with an expiry, visible profile status, clearing and disconnect have passed a live test in a separate Teams workspace. The integration is included in the notarized Mac release candidate. Native sign-in in the final customer package and Windows acceptance remain separate release checks.

Enter the status message you want colleagues to see, choose an expiry and select Publish. Use Clear to remove a status. Disconnecting forgets credentials; it does not remove a status already sent, which remains until its expiry unless cleared.

Different destinations, different displays

Slack uses status text and an emoji. Teams uses a status message. Neither is advertised as the rich artwork-and-timer card shown on Discord. All integrations start off, and the website editor is a simulation rather than a connected workspace.
