PROJECT ICONS
Use your own artwork.
Choose a PNG, JPG or WebP up to 5 MB. Nowbeam fits it into a 1024 × 1024 PNG without cropping, on your device.
- In the editor, select Choose image.
- Check the preview and download the prepared PNG if you want to keep it.
- For a hosted icon, put the prepared image at a public HTTPS URL you control, then enter that URL under Use a hosted image for Discord.
- Use Load hosted icon to preview it. That explicit action contacts the image host.
Upload from the desktop app
The desktop sandbox supports a separate project image and small app badge. Connect the private desktop access file from your sandbox receipt, choose the image destination, select an image and choose whole-image fit or center crop. Review the preview, confirm public hosting, then choose Upload and use image. Nowbeam saves the hosted URL to your selected profile. This complete upload flow has been checked on Mac; Windows verification is in progress.
Uploads are limited to one project image and one badge per sandbox purchase, each at most 1 MiB after preparation. Replacing an image disables its previous URL. Delete hosted image removes the selected slot, although Discord may retain a cached copy. Keep the receipt access file private.
Browser preparation stays local
Choosing a file does not upload it. Local artwork is session-only and is not embedded in exported profile JSON. The export can contain a hosted image URL you supplied. A public image URL has been verified in a real Windows Discord session. Use a square image: Discord crops wide artwork to fit its activity image slot.
If an image does not load
Check that its URL is public HTTPS, serves an image without sign-in, and does not point to a private IP or local machine. Nowbeam deliberately rejects local/private URL forms. Use artwork you have permission to share.
Where your artwork appears
Discord displays the project image and optional small badge. Slack uses status text and an emoji; Teams uses a plain status message without a project icon. The website previews these displays without connecting to your accounts. The desktop app provides the live integrations; see the Slack and Teams setup guide.
