A few checks before a report.

Start with the visible action that failed and the app version. You do not need to share private projects, credentials or an entire system log.

My browser profile disappeared

Profiles are stored in this browser on this origin. Another browser, a different site address or clearing browser data uses a different store. Import your exported JSON backup. There is no cloud account recovery for browser profiles.

My JSON will not import

Use a Nowbeam profile export, up to 16 KiB. Check that the public name is present and links are public HTTPS. A signed license file is a different format and cannot be imported as a profile.

My image is missing after import

Local artwork is not part of profile JSON. Select the image again or supply its hosted URL. See the icon guide.

Nothing changed on Discord

The website editor does not connect to Discord. Desktop sharing must be enabled explicitly, and closing the editor window is not the same as quitting the tray app. Discord has accepted desktop updates on Mac and Windows. Check that the Discord desktop client is open and signed in, then review the app’s visible connection state.

Slack or Teams did not update

Connect the destination in the desktop app, enter your own status text and publish explicitly. Connecting alone does not publish. Teams requires an eligible work or school account; a personal Outlook account is not sufficient. Clear removes a status; Disconnect forgets credentials and does not itself clear a status already sent. See the work-status guide.

What to include in a report

• Operating system and Nowbeam version.
• The action, expected result and visible error text.
• Whether sharing was enabled, paused or disconnected.
• A redacted screenshot with public sample fields.
