WINDOWS

Windows setup, without a separate runtime.

Nowbeam’s Windows x64 package includes the desktop runtime. The development installer installs per user; the ZIP contains the unpacked app.

Current build status

Both artifacts are genuine compiled Windows binaries. Windows 11 installation and uninstall passed. Live Discord sharing, pause and reconnect were tested, and the project text, artwork and timer were observed in Discord. Signing of the final Windows release candidate is underway and is not yet verified. These tests do not establish compatibility with every Windows or Discord version.

When a verified build is available

  1. Use the matching link on the download page. Compare its published SHA-256 with the file you received.
  2. Review the publisher and operating-system prompts. If the origin or publisher is unclear, stop and use the support checklist; this guide does not ask you to disable security protections.
  3. Open Nowbeam and create or import a profile. Sharing and app inputs start off.
  4. Review your public fields before enabling Discord sharing. Pause or Quit clears the active presence.

Closing the window versus quitting

The development app can remain in the tray when its window closes. Use the tray’s Pause or Quit action when you want to stop sharing or exit. A restart does not resume sharing automatically.

Uninstalling

Quit the app first. The installer provides a per-user uninstall entry. Its design removes packaged files and shortcuts while retaining saved profiles; Windows uninstall was tested: app files and registration were removed while saved app data and an unrelated file were preserved.
